The relevant live-casino offer

The live welcome page asks eligible new live-casino customers to opt in, deposit using an eligible debit card and stake £10 on live casino within seven days. The reward is £5 in Golden Chips, offered as 50 × 10p, 10 × 50p or 5 × £1. The page permits live blackjack, roulette and game shows, subject to table minimums. Golden Chips have no cash value and their stake is not returned with a win. Winnings have no further wagering requirement but become accessible after all chips are used.

Timing, payments and unanswered details

Accept the reward within three days of credit and use it within seven days of acceptance. Up to ten Golden Chips may be used in a round. The offer excludes several payment methods and card issuers, including PayPal, Monzo, Revolut and Starling; consult the full list before depositing. We did not establish a separate minimum deposit, a fixed campaign end date or a specific winnings cap. Do not treat “stake £10” as proof of a £10 deposit minimum.

What £5 in Golden Chips actually means

Five £1 chips are five promotional stakes, not £5 that can immediately be withdrawn. Their usable value depends on the eligible game, the table’s minimum and the chip settlement rules. Check those rules before deciding which denomination to accept. The offer does not reimburse the £10 qualifying play, and qualifying bets can lose. We have not calculated expected profit or tested redemption; a stated promotional face value is not a guaranteed return.

Keep the slot offer separate

Betfred also publishes a casino welcome promotion based on qualifying slot play and free spins. That route excludes blackjack, live casino and other table games from qualifying play. A prominent casino banner is therefore not enough to identify an offer usable by a blackjack player. Read the live-casino offer you actually opted into and keep its deadline separate from any slots promotion.

The UK service is operated by Petfre (Gibraltar) Limited, Gambling Commission account 39544. On 30 June 2026 the Commission announced a £900,000 regulatory settlement concerning social-responsibility failings. Its notice also records interim mitigations, an action plan and significant remedial steps by the operator. Both the failings and the response matter when describing the record accurately.
