The Jackpot City online casino is running a special for its blackjack players and this involves an incredibly competitive blackjack tourney.

The Jackpot City Casino is known for its seasonal promotions and special offers and this new blackjack event is scheduled to begin in the near future. Blackjack players are excited about the Survivor blackjack tourney and are invited to register.

This is a unique tourney and only permits 250 players to register for the event. The casino will accept the first 250 entrants after which registration will be closed. However, since this is an initiative blackjack event launched by Jackpot City Casino, the casino also announced that they would scrap the event if they did not get enough registrants.

The minimum number of players required to get this game started is 14 – and it is highly likely that the Jackpot City Casino will get more than enough players for it since the Survivor tourneys tend to be very popular.

The Survivor Blackjack Tourney will feature games of European Blackjack on 6 decks. Players will have to spend $20 to enter and will be eligible to win a guaranteed pot of $280. However, if the game attracts 250 players, the pot will be absolutely huge.

Look at how the competition worked

Tournament reports become more useful when you separate entry costs, scoring and prizes. Some competitions rank chip totals; others use points from qualifying play. The original report below records its own event format. A tournament from this archive is not an open registration or a current schedule.

Entry
Identify the fee, invitation or qualifying play described.
Scoring
Check whether rank depended on chips, points, survival or another measure.
Prize structure
Distinguish the whole prize pool from the amount paid to one winner.
Is a prize pool the same as the first-place prize?

No. A prize pool can be divided across several finishing places. Read the reported payout structure and scoring method together before comparing events.
