21 DVD is number 1
Reported by The-Numbers “21″ the blackjack movie about MIT Card Counters has recently become the best selling DVD of the week. It sold 584,647 DVD’s for a total sales of $11,199,907. 21 was released in regualr DVD format and also high definition Blu-Ray.
The movie was originally released on March 28, 2008 and took in $144,659,365 in worldwide gross ($81m in the US and $63m outside the US) over two months in theaters.
RottenTomatoes has also reported that “21″ is the top rental of the week. It seems the movie was a success and by the recent DVD and rental sales it seems like there are a lot of blackjack fans that are still looking to get their fix.
