$1 Blackjack Tables at Atlantic City Casino Brings in Heavy Traffic

Atlantic City casinos are looking for blackjack traffic and appear to be trying everything they can think of to get their blackjack tables full. After introducing $5 blackjack tables which failed to draw in more players, AC casinos appear to be dropping their buy-ins even further to $1 and $2.

Recently, Trump Marina Hotel Casino launched a promo for blackjack enthusiasts, which is definitely achieving its purpose.

The Trump Marina Casino has only two one-dollar blackjack tables, which it had introduced on an experimental basis. Later, it realized that it needed a third table and applied for the same at the Casino Control Commission of New Jersey.

Back in the early 90s, two-dollar blackjack tables enjoyed great popularity in Atlantic City; however, they were later discarded for the benefit of high rollers. Early this year, two-dollar tables were brought back by Resorts Atlantic City owing to the introduction of a blackjack variant, which required players to bet 25 cents and $2 – $5 per hand. Based on their success, Trump Marina later installed special one-dollar blackjack tables for low-stakes players.

Today, the authorities of Trump Marino Casino say that the one-dollar blackjack tables rake in a profit of $1,100 per day on week days and $1,500 at weekends. Some blackjack enthusiasts say that the casinos of New Jersey will soon introduce more low-stakes blackjack tables. The appearance of 50-cent blackjack tables, therefore, might not be surprising.
