Blackjack Dealers Arrested for Stealing Casino Chips

The police of Kings County in California have arrested a couple of blackjack dealers for stealing casino chips worth $5000 from Tachi Palace Casino, which is situated in Lemoore in California.

Identified as Ge Vang of Fresno in California and Sourivanh Henmoutnry of Porteville in California, the two dealers, both in their early thirties, were caught stealing the casino chips by the casino’s close circuit cameras.

The security guards at the casino observed the two doing something with their hands while pretending to look for the pit boss. In a bid to confirm their suspicion, the security guards checked the video clipping and noticed that one of the dealers was stuffing into his pockets casino chips passed on by the other dealer. Later, chips worth $2,500 were discovered in the croupier’s pockets. One of them also confessed that he not only stole the chips, but also pocketed chips worth $1,500 on another occasion.

The casino believes that it has been robbed of at least $5,000 by the blackjack dealers. Apparently, the dealers’ friends or relatives might have cashed the chips because the rules of Tachi Palace Casino prevent dealers from cashing chips.

The two dealers were immediately arrested and later booked for grand theft and conspiracy.
